Complete words may be placed on the table, or letters can be added to

It is a challenge to complete a variety of winning patterns and
combinations. The scoring is unusual and the ever-changing
possibilities of play are thoroughly absorbing.
Both the dealing and the playing always go counter-clockwise. This
is because this game, although originally conceived in Romania, really
began its journey to the world in Israel, where in Hebrew everything
reads backwards - from right to left. So, Rummikub always goes
counter-clockwise because it is staying true to its roots.
