My e100 just died

The iRiver E100 uses iRiver Plus 3 to manage music, pictures, and more. iRiver Plus 3 can be downloaded for free here:

1. Insert the installation CD into your PC to display the installation process screen.
2. Select iriver plus 3 and click the Install button.
3. Complete the installation process by following the on-screen instructions.
4. Turn on the iRiver E100, and then plug it in to the computer using the USB cable.
   
5. Open iRiver Plus 3.
   
6. Select the desired files / folders in your PC and drag & drop Music, pictures, etc. to the drive which appears as the product.

Use next internet explorer site: http://www.iriverinc.com/lounge/loungeList.asp
enter the phrase e100 in the bar next to GO.

Next select User Manual of E100. An overview of several languages will appear, select yours from the list to open or download.

I had the same problem and I realized that my power supply had one pin missed in the 20 pin molex, just changed the atx power supply unit and my iriver E100 was detected.

Yes, you use a USB cable to charge it from your PC.

just connect your player to your pc/laptop....go to my computer...it will show your player as an external hard disk...just open it and copy paste songs from the pc to the player...should work :)
