This seems a common error across a wide range of Sharp printers/copiers. It means
PCU PWB EEPROM CHECK SUM ERROR

To enter simulation mode to reset errors enter this sequence on keypad.
P, * , CA , P then enter sim # 14 to reset code.
press " custom settings" button to return to previous menu and CA to exit sim mode.

Use SIM14 to
cancel the trouble.
Entering the simulation mode
1) Copy mode key ON → Program key ON → Asterisk (*) key
ON → CLEAR key ON → Asterisk (*) key ON → Ready for input of a main code of simulation
enter 14
accpet yes clear..
machine should restart.
You may have to have a tech look into why this is jamming...

E7 is only part of the code. It could be a hard drive problem, memory problem, laser problem, or a loose connection on one of the boards.
