Why am I not able to connect to any websites and why am i getting an error that states "proxy server not responding".

Contact your ISP for the server proxy settings & enter into account settings in mail program. Your ISP should be able to fix your problem. Give them a call & they'll talk you through it. bobwin

i had the same problem and my system wont work and wen i turn on my tablet it says. tablet useless now

Check your gmail mail settings on the iPad. It seems you may have the wrong settings because typically your mail server settings would be set to "pop.gmail.com" when using Gmail on an iPad.

check your proxy server setting, by going to internet option setting, connection, lan setting and uncheck all boxes

I suspect your proxy setting on your p1010. Maybe you have set a malfunctioning proxy server

That won't do you any good unless you're connected to a private network with an IP addressing scheme setup that starts with 192.168.1. 192.168.1.3 would be on a private network and is not a webserver you'd find on the Internet. Do you know whether or not you have a proxy server setup at the location you're trying to use WiFi? 192.168.1.3:8080 seems like it would be the address of a proxy.
