I have a amana washing machine it works fine on small and medium loads but does not drain and spin right when its on large loads I changed the pump and still not right

What model number is the machine? That error is related to the amount of time it is taking to drain. There could be something blocking the pump on the intake side. It could also be the pump itself.

Your drain hose is pushed too far down into the drain so when you select the larger load sizes the water is being siphoned out as it goes in due to the pressure differential.

the programer has given up the gost on you only thing you can do is try to replace it,,,

please change the washer between the hose that leads to water exit and the machine. this must have gone loose or worn out.

have same problem but mine take large and small loads and leaks

you need part #ap4253876 made by whirlpool

could be a clogged water pump. check the filter/pump for dirt and small items, socks, pins, coins,

It sound like you drain hose is siphoning off the rinse water, It needs a standpipe make sure the drain hose is at about the height of the top of the washer, Make sure the drain hose isnt stuck in the drain it also needs an air cap. the drain hose should not lay on the floor to run to the drain
