Hi,
The Garmin c330s will have trouble acquiring satellites as the batteries wear out, which usually happens around 15 mo. Batteries are soldered in, so replacement requires sending it in to Garmin. I've seen some reports from users who had this problem right out of the box or shortly after purchase.
You May try
No.1
You can try both a normal reset or a master reset and see if either one works for you.
The normal reset button is behind the front bezel. You access it by using your thumbnail under the top part of the bezel and carefully pull the bezel off. Once off you press the reset button on the right side of the front face labeled reset.
Option #2 - Master reset, will lose all data.
With the unit off, use a pencil eraser to depress the bottom right corner of the screen while turning the unit on. Once on, let go of the on button and keep the lower right screen depressed and answer yes to do you want to reset unit and lose all data. Once reset you must allow the unit 45 minutes of good reception to reload all satellite data, moon data, time, etc...
Sure this would help .
God Bless.
