Pl. make a copy on your fax machine, if its ok, then your fax machine is OK. else your scanner and related part may defective. However this may tested after SHADING ADJUST done on service mode.

Black pages

If everything is coming out Black it sounds like the lamp in the scanner has gone bad. If you can get the part from sharp it might not be hard to replace, but the cost may out weigh the cost of a replacement.

SHARP UX-A1000 - sends all BLACK page (to all

Noisy line? is all that strikes true when you ensure me it makes great photocopys, but then you receive OK, very strange, All the mechanisms for doing a local copy is the same as sending a fax the difference is the conversion to phone noise so it has to be electronic, I;d guess lightning/power surge, cant think of much else....sorry

Fax sent is blacck

your CIS or scanner is faulty
this unit is the one that reads your original document that you are sending.
It will probably need to be replaced

We have a Sharp UX-B700. Unable to send clear faxes.

The scanner that scans the paper is likely dirty. Pull the cover with all the buttons toward you, and clean the glass that the paper slides by, preferably with a soft cotton cloth and some rubbing alcohol. Try to make a copy to see if the quality is improved
