I removed the control panel from the front of a Stoves EFa900H double electric oven. Unfortunately the neons became disconnected. I have the following connectors spare in the oven: 1Brown Wire - White Connector is marked UP 2Black Wire - White connector is marked 83 and S symbol I think the above are for the grill Neon. 3White wire - White connector is marked 20 and S symbol 4Missing wire? Cannot find in the top of the oven at all. Can anyone advise how it should be wired? I can send pictures if required. I also found a blue wire coming from the LED timer control but its just resting in the top of the oven which seems strange but I can't see that this was removed during control panel removal.

fiest press the on key see if the display comes if not the turn the power off for 5-8 seconds if that doesnt do it turn power off then pull the oven out from the wall and remove the top to acess eoc pull the mylar ribbion out of the eoc by releasing the latch which is a tiny pullout bar at the base of the connector at the eoc then you cam clean the ribbon gently with a clean pencial eraser also under the top panel will be a tech sheet with more info pay atten to resseting the oven cavity size on start up

Hi rhonm,
You should have found a connection diagram in the top of the oven. If you didn't, call GE at the following number and they will send you one. 1-800-626-2005
It would be very difficult for any one to make a recommendation without seeing the oven or part. Are there one or two gray wires? My first guess is that they sent you the wrong part. See photo for typical double oven ERC.

you can buy the new sensor here http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/ and they give you thermal **** connectors to handle the heat.

red is positive and black is neutral normally on these ovens, dont recall seeing blue and lilac.
