You will need to contact Amazon directly in order to find out if you qualify for a refund. In certain cases they do give refunds for Prime memberships.

Check out http://www.fixya.com/support/r25421070-cancel_amazon_prime_membership for more information.

Hope that helps!

How do I get a refund of $99.00 for prime membership that I have no idea why I was charged for this.

About the Amazon Prime Membership Charge At the end of the Amazon Prime free trial or annual membership period, your card will be charged $99 automatically for the next membership period.
The annual charge for Amazon Prime includes FREE Two-Day Shipping, Prime Instant Video, and the Kindle Owner's Lending Library.
If you didn't intend to convert your membership to a full 12-month membership, you can cancel your Amazon Prime membership on the Manage Prime Membership page. If you haven't placed an Amazon Prime-eligible order, you are eligible for a full refund.
When we renew your membership, the card you gave us at sign-up is used. If we can't successfully charge this card, another payment method will be used. Your initial sign-up authorizes us to use the preferred or other available payment methods. To update your preferred card, go to Manage Prime Membership .

I took out Prime by mistake, on 18th December have now cancelled. I need refund.

You can appeal to Amazon.com's Customer Service department. Once your free period has elapsed, it automatically becomes a "Paid Membership". If you haven't used any Prime Benefits outside the free window you can receive a refund of the full amount. Their policy on cancellation of Prime membership reads as follows: "Paid members who haven't placed an Amazon Prime eligible order are eligible for a full refund. You can't receive a refund if any of the household members have placed an Amazon Prime eligible order."

So, depending on how you've used the account, you may be out of luck.

I did not order a prime memership. I do not have the funds for this. I want a refund please

Amazon Prime is tricky and sometimes you click on a free 30 day membership without knowing it but what you can do is ask for a refund in the first 30 days after it becomes a one year membership of $99 and they will generally refund you.
