Suggestions below: You can try whichever you want 1st.
1) Power off the printer, then power it back on. Give it time to reconnect. You may need to restart your application you're trying to print from so it can recognize newly restarted/connected printer.
2) Try uninstalling completely and re-installing it. Sometimes a restart in between is also a good idea to ensure old processes causing interference are not still in play....
3) Check for updates as sometimes mfg. issue patches to address various issues...
Finally, keep other programs up-to-date such as flash player, java etc.
Check your WiFi setting, sometimes the printer goes offline or not recognized if the device IP is changed by the gateway DHCP (router or pc), just check ON THE PRINTER if it is connected to your network, if not only reconnect you printer to the wireless newtork.

Power down the printer and disconnect the cord connecting printer and laptop. If the printer is wireless, unpair the bluetooth link between printer and laptop. Remove printer and all drivers for printer. Go to manufacturer website for printer and download latest drivers. Restart computer. During the restart of the computer, power up printer. Once the computer is back and loaded to the desktop, reconnect printer. Make sure once the New Hardware Wizard pops up, you locate where you downloaded the drivers and complete the install.
