I've never used WMP to directly sync to my Chocolate. I have success with the VW Vcast software which uses WMP through it. Maybe check Windows's website for troubleshooting on recognizing devices.

The
LG Chocolate mobile phone by Life's Good (LG) is used through
Verizon cellular phone service. The Chocolate, also known by the
model number VX8500, comes in a variety of colors and includes
features such as a camera and a music player. The phone can be reset
to factory default settings. Instruction
1. Access the
menu by pressing the "OK" button.
2.
Lightly tap the backwards button--the one with two small triangles
pointing to the left--on your keypad.
3.
Press "OK," and then the number "5" button
twice.
if you have a memory card then you can get the adaptor you got with it and put it in your computer then drag and drop the music files from your pc to the folder in the memory card
Well You Can Put Songs as music, but u cannot make them ringtones, depends i think ur phone takes a memory card, mabe put songs on it, then go on ur phone and open music player.
There is a small "lock" on the memory card that can slide from one side to another. Take out your card push the lock to the other end and then try accessing your music again.
Windows media player should work as long as your computer can reconize the device(Phone) just use the sync function on the wmp and locate your phone on the list of devices. Also make sure you have a media card in your phone.
You need to format inside the phone. Go to Settings-Memory-Card Memory-Options-Format card. Do that, put it back in your computer, and put music (MP3's) into the My_Music folder.
Plug in you r phone with your USB to your PC and then Go to MY Computer and see the drive letter where your LG phone connect (removable disk), click there and see the sub folders inside and you will see a folder named MUSIC, here where you can save the mp3 (music) you wanted for your phone.
