LG LRSC26925TT ice dispensing funnel broken

If you have already replaced the water inlet valve and checked the water pressure, there could be a blockage in the water line between the inlet valve and the dispenser. You can try to disconnect the water line from the inlet valve and the dispenser and flush it out with water to clear any blockages.
If this does not resolve the issue, the problem could be with the water dispenser actuator, which controls the flow of water from the dispenser. The actuator may be faulty or may need to be replaced.

Check trap door where ice is dispensed out of that it is airtight

No it should pop out .
before you go nuts use a mirror and a torch and have a really good look, they are normally popped in with either a quick release clip or a spot to use a flat screw driver

check to make sure the fill line inside the door is not frozen. also check for water coming out of the valve. also could be your water filter.

You'll need to replace the whole ice maker system. Problem exist in the mechanical box connected to the lever which once opened is almost impossible to re-assemble. Cost around $95.00

The dispenser cover snaps off. Look at the bottom corners of the dispenser faceplate and you may see small slots to put a small flat bladed screwdriver inside to help pry the faceplate off. This faceplate snaps on very tightly so it may seem like there are screws holding it in place, but it only snaps in.

Once you have the faceplate off the rest will be easy as you can see what you are doing and what you have to remove.

Note, if you are replacing the funnel you need to know that this part has been updated as of OCT 2005 (stronger clips to hold it in place) and it will not snap into the older funnel frame (the part it attaches to).

If the serial number for your model starts with 510KR or lower, then you will also need the updated funnel frame part number 3210JA0006S.

the clear funnel is either broken or just popped out of place.

if you can get a flashlight and look at the funnel you will see two clips on both sides of the funnel that secures it to the lever just push firmly and it should go back into place. if you dont have any luck you can order the funnel and replace it fairly easily.

one thing that may help you repair this unit is remmoving the front cover of the dispenser.

on the bottom of the cover is 2 slots for a flat tip screw driver. just insert the driver and leverage outward and the snaps will release. (it takes quite a bit of force). be sure to unplug the refrig to prevent getting shocked. when you reinstall the cover you will have to hit the lower portion firmly with the palm or side of your hand to lock the cover back in place.

I had the exact same problem on my LG LRSC26940 and was able to fix it fairly easily. First remove the Ice Funnel by pulling down on it. Then remove the entire dispenser panel by getting your fingernails underneath and pulling out. Disconnect the electrical connecter to the front panel PCB. Remove the 4 screws attaching the bracket that the Ice Funnel connects to. This exposes the solenoid that opens the Ice Door flapper. In my case, the electrical connections to this solenoid were bad. I simply scraped the spade terminals on the solenoid off with a screwdriver and crimped the connectors with a pliers. I put it all back together and it is working fine now.

This diagram may help some.. should be a molding thats goes around outside of dispenser.. should be able to pop off and get at screws u need to get at...to remove and get at what u need too
