Question about Chevrolet 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

Open Question

Is there a way to access the inside of the drivers side door on a 2004 Chevy Aveo?

The door handle on the inside came loose from the door latch and I need to get inside the door to hook it back up. Also the outside door handle broke up one morning during very cold weather and I need to replace that also and I need to access the inside of the door to do that as well. Will the inside metal panel come off or is it the entire thing one piece and won't give access to the guts of the door and window mechanisms inside the door.

SOURCE: Driver's inside door handle broke. How do I get

found this while looking to replace speakers:

DOOR WITH POWER LOCKS AND WINDOWS First remove the triangle piece in the top corner of the panel (piece closest to the outside mirror). This can be done with a plain screwdriver and just a little
prying and it will snap off. Second, remove the door lock inset, same screwdriver, little prying and it snaps out. Next remove the cover inside the door handle, same screwdriver, pry and snaps out
(turn it upside down and slide it off. Now you will need to remove the cover that holds the window
and door lock buttons, same screwdriver and pry upwards just a little and should pop off. Ok now you
will need a small socket to take out three screws. One is inside the button panel you just took off,
the second is inside corner of the door arm, (the handle you grab to shut the door, look under it,,
see it yet, yeah thats it). The last screw in on the very bottom of the whole door panel, you will
have to get on your hands and knees to see this one (yeah thats it right there). Now would be a good
time to remove the door light on the corner, same screwdriver, pry from the red lens side outward,
once out, remove the wire termial. Ok.... now grab the under side of the panel where that last screw
was and lift upwards, apply a little more pressure till the panel pops upward about an inch. Now your
door panel is loose, you can lift it off a little but you will need to remove the wire from the tweeter.
The termial has a locking tab you need to press down to remove it.

Back door wont open, i have a chevy tracker. some times it will click in handle and some times not but either way does not open.

From the description of your issue it sounds as though if the door handle rod has come off inside the door. If so, in this you would have to pull the door panel to access it. Door won't open from either inside or out handle? That's going to be a bit of a trick getting it off. It couldn't be a handle broken because if it was, one handle or the other would open it but it's the rod has com off the latch assembly. If you can gain access to the inside the door at the latch side, you should be able to manually move to latch by hand to open it and replace the broken retainer clip. I hope this helps in your repair. Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)

2009 Hyundai Elantra SE - Driver side rear door won't open from the inside or outside.

You will need to remove the inside door panel, what that takes I don't know, but it must come off to access the door latch, there you will likely find the latch release control rod has come off or the latch is defective.

How to replace door handle on 2009 chevy aveo

You will need to remove the inner trim panel of the door to access either the inside or the outside handle.
Once removed, you will see screws that hold the inside handle, and bolts or nuts that hold the outside handle onto the door.
Remove those, and you are on your way.
God's blessings

The switch on my chevy aveo doors do not work except the drivers side switch

Have you checked the wiring that runs from the driver door into the frame and inside the door ? At times, the wiring over time breaks and stops the proper working of accessories and other components.
May also want to check your fuses and if good, check power from fuse panel to the other door switches to make sure you don't have a wiring problem.

Rear pontiac grand am door stuck

I have a 2002 pontiac grand am with both power windows and door locks. Everything else works except the lock assembly on the rear driver side rear door latch. I have removed the inside panel , aboth rods are connected. all power is disconnected to that door. I moved both of the rods correctly and the door will slightly open but that is all. How can I get it to release so I can repair or replace the latch and lock if nescessary ? I had the same problem only reversed with the frond door it would not close but after some trying I fixed that problem.

My driver side door wont open from the outside but will open from the inside. How do i fix this

Well first remove the door panel then look for a link that joins the lock to the door handle, you will probably find that the clip that holds it on has broken.

How to remove front passenger side interior door panel on 2005 pontiac wave (same as Chevy Aveo). Need to re-attach door handle. Screws that hold it on attach from the inside of the panel.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
