Turn the computer off.
Unplug its power-cord.
Connect its power-cord.
Turn the computer on, and enter "BIOS SETUP".
Check the "Boot Options", to ensure that your RAID-array is listed as one (preferably the first) of the bootable devices.

Non system disk or disk error' 'replace and strike any key when ready' 'Media test failure Check cable' When l performed the Boot Utility test it returned an error message 'f

Sounds like a disk issue. It kind find the OS so it's then trying to PXE boot (boot from the network). Have you changed the boot order recently? or do you have a USB key connected to your server? are you able to connect to the management interface (hp ilo, dell drac) to see if you had any raid or other hardware issues?

HP Compaq ProLiant DL380 G2 Server won't boot from cdrom

Hello, I think you might find more information on starting up the DL380 G2 at the link shown below:
http://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c00972124

Also, the replacement instructions, in case it needs to be replaced, (and relevant troubleshooting info) for the 5i controller are found in the link here :http://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?sp4ts.oid=316587&docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-c00688182

Please first make sure that you are using the proper startup boot disk for the server before entering the CD ROM option from the boot menu. Also, check the front panel of the SCSI drives for any errors or blinking LEDS that correspond to an error code. You can run a diagnostics CD/DVD that arrived with the manufacturer's pack to detect any raid issues on startup.

If you are still facing difficulties with booting up the server, you can find a video for replacement of the appropriate scsi drive here if you are still facing any issues of your scsi drive. Try a different hard disk or check the relevant diagnostics to verify whether is the controller or the drive that complicates the booting of the server

For more details check the scsi manual in the link below (section "FBWC LEDs" , pages 15-17).

I have HP PROLIANT DL 380 (G4). I removed hard disk. Its start and few seconds restart again. its happening continuously. Any solution.

need to provide moreinfo.
is the server (prolaint DL380) constantly rebooting within BIOS mode or has it got to the stage of running windows.
The other item not mentioned here, is, IF the raid controller has failed, you will not see any disks initializing and would cause the system to continually reboot.
If it is an internal raid controller, it is part of the motherboard, you will need to contact HP to have it replaced.

If an pci related array controller .. i.e. separate to the motherboard, this will need to be replaced to see the HDD's.
Either way sounds like a hardware issue. Best to liaise directly with vendor to have the faulty components replaced.
