I have set preferences in print view to 150% and paper selection to A3 Also in Printer properties I have tried 25 to 400% and no scale option Print view shows image fitting A3 paper However print result is a part picture printer out on A4 How can I correct this problem Thanks Paul
Hi Paul,
I would try and insert the PDF as an image to Powerpoint, crop the image to your desired proportions, scale it up to your preference, then print the Powerpoint slide on A3. Alternately, print the slide to PDF, then print.
Good luck
Testimonial: "Thanks Taut 1618 You are right the pdf needs to be treated as an image I found a selection within the print menu to do the same thing It is a pity Brother dont make this clear in their instructions Better still they should make the scale function on the print screen work !!!"
try to find the margin settings of the application that you are printing with. If margins are setup in a wrong way it will print anywhere it likes.
Aso see the paper size. e.g. A4, A3 etc.
I think you should take a normal a4 paper and print it and see the size of the image and the size of the document that you have created.
Another way to test it is to copy the image(content) only and paste it in some other application like MS Word or something else and try to print it in 4x6.
If it is an image and you can copy it to MS Paint then do it and cut everything else (crop the image accordig to its' size), then print.
Remember to place the paper on the right hand side of the paper tray. (You can do the reverse also if it required.)
