If a power off/on or a full factory reset don't work, then you have a warranty claim to make!
Press down the Power button and tap Volume Up as you startup the Jazz and you should see the Android system recovery menu appear on your screen. Choose the `factory reset`. All data will be wiped, all settings erased - so back it up first!
I did a factory reset on a Bell & Howell C714. I would think that the process would be similar. Turn the tablet off. Wait 10 seconds or so. Hold down volume down button while pressing the on button. Keep holding down both buttons until you see an android icon. It may be laying on its back with a red exclamation mark over it, like I saw. Once you see the icon, let go of the buttons and press the "back" or return button. This should bring up a list of options. You can scoll through the list by using the up or down volume buttons. I picked the option to delete all user data, which basically will set the tablet back to factory settings, like when you first got the tablet. Once that is complete, reboot the tablet.
To perform a factory reset: While the power is turned off hold the power button and up volume button by pressing them. Keep holding them until something appears on the screen. Then release and you should be given the option to erase all the data from the Kocaso tablet.
