SOURCE: I have an electro brand 9249 record player. How do I remove the needle and where do I get a new needle

Hello
The needle and cartridge can be bought from most of the standard electronic sparepart selleing shops at your town. It will be best to replace the cartridge along with needle. Cartridge will have a number printed on it, should be noted. OK.

Riding Mowers When fuel solenoids go bad causing fuel to drain in engine

hello sir, check to see if the engine is over full on oil and gas in the engine .this will make starter drag eventually ruining starter.this is the only thing i can think of other than engine having high compression or valves not opening and the pressure relief valve not working,or engine low on oil SAE 30 WT for summer, SAE5W30 for winter, is also important to keep good oil in engine and full. the solenoids under the carburetor will go bad,and cause flooding, if you have one. make sure you keep battery charged. if it is bad follow these directions ,well it is a simple fix,but a lot to correct problem, parts needed,1 new spark plug,1 new solenoid,1 quart of 30wt oil,1 pan to catch old oil in. tools needed,1 spark plug wrench,1,7/16 or 1/2 or 9/16 open wrench, pen&paper. ok, empty fuel tank or clamp off fuel line, make a drawing as how the wires are connected to the solenoid, white & black wires, unplug wire fittings, remove solenoid, in stall new solenoid, plug wires in. now drain oil & gas out of engine, remove old spark plug, important so follow directions, after oil is drained plug is out crank engine so to clean out cylinder of excess oil & gas,it would be a good ideal to let oil drain for a while. add oil & spark plug, engine will smoke for a while but should clear up.when you go to the parts store you will need engine horse power, engine brand, model number, type number, parts should cost around 50.00. including everything you need, check oil often you can put a inline fuel shutoff in the fuel line about $5.00, or replace solenoids for $40.00.hope this helps,DON'T FORGET THE 4 THUMBS UP,, up,any comments welcome, thank you.

Overfilled the oil and black smoke came. Can't startt now what i need to do

hi there pauly46 here

remove plug, pull engine over to remove oil from combustion chamber , clean plug,
refit, remove air filter - replace it if its wet with oil / or water damaged and clean backing plate , drain float bowl and check oil in carb, refit bowl and connect water supply to pump - turn on and start engine ( sounds like you hydraulicd the piston in the cylinder )

engine may blow blue / white smoke for a while then settle back

note do not use a sae 30 , use a 20w/50 oil or 10w/40. honda engine with low oil shut down
units on them have a problem with sae 30 oil

cheers hope it helps

I just got an electro brand mp3 player model #MP2408CP and when i plg headphones or speakers into it, i have to push up on the wire to get sound. How can i fix that?

Your wires in your headphones are probably loose/detached. Best solution is to just buy new headphones. If you don't want to buy new headphones, open your headphones up and solder or tape the wire back the metal/wire.

Our new Pole Saw, (6 mo old, used 2 times) just stopped working. Not outlet or electrical connection to pole saw. It is a 10" Remington Pole Saw...

Check in the handle, the wire connection to the electrical switch could have came loose or disconnected. The switch may need to be replaced. Maybe part of the cord went bad, but I would think that would be less likely, but possible if you had a electrical surge.

If the wire connection is okay, then I suggest you try to purchase a new switch part # 077525S, that may do the trick. You can by one by calling Master Distributors at 800-446-1446 or you can find them online at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps!

I have a 1996 BMW1100 LT. I want to hook up a battery tender to it during the winter. I am asking how to hook the battery jumpers without taking off all the brackets, etc... Can that be done?

If you have a BMW style power outlet for accessories such as heated clothing you can use the battery tender to charge your battery through that connection. I have an '04 R1150RT which I've been charging this way since I bought it. It has a 15 amp fuse which is adequate for charging with a low amperage charger link the Battery Tender or Battery Tender JR. Don't use the connection to jump the battery as the starter will pull too much current through the 15 amp fuse. You can connect the SAE type Battery Tender leads to an SAE to BMW male outlet cable to make the connection. Alternately, you could wire a cable to the batter with an SAE connector on it and bring the SAE connector end out under the seat and plug it in that way. You can store the SAE end under the seat when not in use and not worry about it shorting out since the exposed metal end of the SAE connector is the ground connection.
