Sansa e260: Blank Screen

Your battery is not dead because if it was, then navigation wheel would not be lighting up. Your screen is blank because when you touch the navigation wheel, you probably decrease the brightness of the screen. Turn the wheel counterclockwise, as this will brighten up the screen display. Press the center button when done. Reply back if this solution does not help.

Your Screen is most likely broke because even if somehow accidentally the brightness on the screen setting was messed with it wouldn't make it white the only real solution is to buy a new one or learn to navigate the device without seeing

You may need to now reset the player, that may have been a bit much for it. To reset your Sansa Mp3 player. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds. Release the Power switch. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly. If that does not get your player working again, try and Format to clear any corrupt files that may be present.

Press menu button for 15 then it turns off .. after that .. turn it on again

To me it seems like the head phone jack is loose, it might need to be re soldered and then things would be back to normal. HOpe this works.

thats what happened to my ipod there really isnt anything you can do. i really know how you feel sorry!

connect it to the comuter then get sansa updater and reinstall the firmware on the sansa

hold down the menu/turn on button for about 20 seconds that will reset it.

u have to wait till the screen will be black. I had the same problem with my sansa. it can lasts 1 or 2 days. after screen is black and then do following: 2. change lock switch to orange position 3.
