When I try to use my Kenmore dishwasher model # 587 140 222 00A the lights flash. Looking for a rest code as unplugging did not work. Buttons from left to right are: heavy wash, normal wash, light wash, Eco wash, quick rinse, sanitize, hi temp, heat dry, delay start, and start/cancel. Thank you in advance!!!!

Hi-Temp Wash, Hi-Temp Rinse, or Sanitize options.
Some models have options that may require a water heating delay, such as Hi-Temp Wash, Hi-Temp Rinse, or Sanitize. Additional time may be required to heat the water to the proper temperature. The dishwasher will continue to circulate water during this heating delay but the timer will not advance until the proper temperature is reached

I had the same flashing light problem first the normal wash flashing light then the others. I tried shuting of the breakers but nothing. I tried resetting the panel by pushing normal wash and heated dry simultaneously and nothing. So I took the six screws holding the front panel out and unplugged the ribbon type wires and plug and unplugged it several times to help make a better contact and I was able to get it to work right away. This may not work for all but I worked for me. It is very easy to do and it's worth a try if you're having the same problem. It took me less then 10 minutes.

It might be a safety switch on the heater in there, most of the time they usually only reset after the temperature has dropped but some will reset with the power being cycled. I am furnace repair man myself, and that's what I'd suspect. Either that or there is some other safety switch that is locking it out that only resets with the power being shut off.

Press "high temp wash, heated dry, High temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash"
All the lights will go solid at which point you press cancel to reset the board.
**NOTE** if you don't have a "heated dry" button, use the "air dry" or "energy saver dry" button instead.
