Replacing the seal by the pulley

If you mean the seal where the CV shaft enters the differential, remove CV shaft, carefully pry out old seal, clean up and install new one being careful to get get it in straight, and lube the seal inner lip, then reinstall CV.

If some other seal, same basic procedure.

Manual transmission fluid leak from the input for cv drive shaftdriver side

Well, not being familiar with your vehicle I can recommend this. The shaft seal is seated in the transmission where the input shaft enters the transmission.

If the seal part is a round metal ring with a rubber inner seal, then in all likelyhood it is pressed into the transmission.

Now if you think you can pull the seal out after you remove the CV drive shaft - meaning do you have enough room to get up in there to pop it out, then yes you can do it without removing the transmission.

On the other hand if the seal is not accessable to pop out then you will probablly have to remove the transmission which is by no means an easy job. Might want to take a look on youtube and do a search for CV inner shaft seal removal for your particular vehicle or one similar. You will probably find the answer there.

Hope this info helps.

Pump leaking at shaft

That would mean your shaft seals aren't function as they should.
You would need to determine the make and model of your pump to figure out which seal you need.

I have a 2000 dodge dakota 4 wheel drive . recently i have noticed the shaft coming out of the front axle on the drivers side has play and making the tire wear weird . i noticed the seal is shot on that...

i am not sure just what shaft you are talking about,i think you mean the outer tie rod end and the seal you mean is the dust boot on the tie rod end, when you buy a new end it will come with a new boot. but if you mean the front axle shaft it should not cause the tire to wear funny it might cause some noise or a shake but not a wear problem.

Rear axle leaks, want to replace seal where drive shaft connects to axle.

A continental is a front wheel drive car since 89. You must mean a town car. The pinion shaft seal is tricky because of a bearing preload issue that can be catastrofic if you get it wrong. I would recomend seeking the skills of a pro.

Polaris pb460, replaced the impeller and seal. motor binds when the impeller is threaded all the way.

This means that one of the 2 pieces of the shaft seal are not seated all the way. More likely the part on the seal plate. Make sure you use a non petroleum based lube to seat the shaft seal.

Oil above the saprk [lug but below the spark plug boot

How many miles? It has nothing to do with the piston rings. It means that either the seals at the top of the spark plug holes under the valve cover or the seals at the bottom of the plug holes (where the rocker shaft/cam shaft supports mount to the block).are bad. The ones at the top are relatively easy to replace, a valve cover gasket kit should include the large cover seal and four o-rings. The lowers seals are a bit more involved and require the rocker shaft support to be removed. My 1990 Accord has this problem as well. I occasionally remove the plugs, clean the boots, plugs and the holes, then reinstall everything. If it reaches 300,000 miles, I may do it all when I change the timing belt.
