It may well be that you have a low level SD card You should try to use a '10' card this is shown on the card by the number 10 in a large C. It's to do with the cards write & read speed. A class 10 card will cure your problem
I think your card is damaged. Try connecting to your computer and check available space. Take a backup and format it from your PC, check if it is formatting completely.
If the card is not Class 10 you will also have problem recording movie from a camera. You need a high speed card to record video.
Do not touch the microphone while recording. Sounds such as from pressing buttons will be recorded in the movie.
Press the movie button to shoot.the movie button is towards the right of the view lens. Recording starts. During recording, the elapsed recording time and [ Rec.] will display in the LCD monitor.
Most cameras require a card that writes data fast in order to keep up with shooting movies. If your card is slow, you might consider buying a faster (albeit more expensive) one.
