I would unplug it, give it a day to drain off the capacitors and then plug it in again. Maybe it will g back to normal. Sounds like the ten or 13 blink "death" code though. Plug it in or turn it on and count the number of blinks. I don't know the website, but do a search for the explanation chart. each blink 1-10 or 1-13 tells you what the problem is. If you are very handy, you can replace the board that's causing your problem.

My understanding is if any air gets in this area where the glasses are it will not work. You better ask a tv repair man to see if it is worth putting the money in to repair. There should be no charge unless you have him do something to it.

Tv won't turn on. blinking red light in lower left corner

unplug the television...wait 10 seconds and then plug back in....if you listen carefully after 5-10 seconds you will hear a click sound (the same sound that you hear when you turn on or off) ...once you have heard it, turn the TV on again using the remote. Do not turn on until you hear the click. If this does not work, try again but turn the TV on again before you hear the click. I dont know why it happens but it is as if the TV gets confused as to whether its supposed to be on or off. Most of the time, the solution is to turn it on after the click so I would always try that first.

I cannot get it to turn on. in the lower right

The flashing light indicates a failure with-in the tv, the amount of blinks will coincide with a particular fault scenario. Tell me how many times the light blinks and I can tell you the problem. However, the tv will need servicing from your local shop. This tv is too complex to walk you through fixing this problem with Philips plasma tvs.

Flash not working

i think your problem is that you are not flipping open the flash... the flash doesnt automatically flip open... and the blinking red icon in the lower left just means that since there isnt enough light, the camera will spend a bit longer to allow more light to enter the lens, hence you need to keep the camera steady and not shake it... hope this helped
