SOURCE: Paper does not feed - GRABS RIGHT SIDE

I once had a similar problem a few months ago and I tried EVERYTHING I could do (Without shaking the printer, I was scared to do that) nothing worked, till I actually got up on a chair and looked into my printer (It is up on a rise above my computer) and there was a push pin sitting in the feeder opening! (Remove pushpin = then it was fine)

Then it started doing it AGAIN yesterday at a time when I really needed my printer, and this time there was no obvious pushpin or any obvious obstruction. I read all the stories here and thought *WOW they had things that far in there?!" So I tried harder and FINALLY after opening the back panel I saw with a flashlight there was a FROOTLOOP (I don't even HAVE any frootloops in my dorm! XD) jammed in the right side inside it! With a chopstick I was able to get it out and now it's fine again. OMG.

But yea, things like to get stuck in printers I guess. XD

SOURCE: not grabbing paper

Try cleaning the rollers again and fan the paper. When you clean the rollers, use alcohol and a lint free cloth. Don't put too many sheets in the feed tray.

SOURCE: "paper-feed error"

Had the same problem with mine, very intermittent. Remove all the paper and open the feed tray lid so you can get access to the three grey pinch rollers. Start printing then push on the roller with your finger to try and 'rough it up' (if it clicks you are pressing too hard).

The fault appears to be that the pinch rollers are loosing their grip and can not pull the glossy paper through. I dare say using a mild washing up liquid solution would be better but this is a safe quick fix.

Did this to mine and it has worked fine ever since.

SOURCE: cassette has paper in it; fresh ink cartridge; can

This is sort of scenario is usually caused by dust inside the printer. Dust has a way of preventing the sensors from detecting paper. Also it prevents the rollers from having a firm grip on the paper while picking paper. I will suggest you get a long handle brush and try to reach as far inside the printer as possible and brush (from the back and front). If you have a blower you may also use it to blow well into the interior of the printer (If you do not have a blower the brushing will still do if you do it well.) This, if properly done should do it. Brush especially the rollers etc.

Testimonial: "That was exactly the information I needed. It still needs a little push on the paper once in a while, but I'm back to printing. THX"

Clean the feed roller on the document feeder with a damp soapy cloth to clean off paper dust that is making it slip.

My printer is showing red lines!

Question edited to fix errors in printer name format. Plus it is either a CP-200 or a CP-1200. There isn't a CP-2000.

This is the likely reason.

Also remove the cartridges, remove the printhead, and look for scraps of paper or lint in the area.

It is a known issue on these.

Cannon cp 200 paper will not feed

I found an old Canon CP-200 but it wouldn't feed paper. I used q tip and alcohol to clean the rubber roller and it worked again. (The roller wasn't tacky enough to grab the paper)

Canon Selphy 710. The rollers don't grab the paper. Can this be fixed or do I have to buy a new printer? The drivers are up to date.

Had the same problem after not using the printer for many months. Removed the feed tray and blew into the printer. Then printed something but gently pushed the paper a few mm until the printer took it. Obviously top of the paper tray has to be removed for this. Expected to have to do this every time, but after four prints (which incidentally were perfect) it now works like a dream, taking the paper without attention.

The printer is not pulling the photo paper from the cartidge what can I do

Are you putting the paper on the front tray? The selphy takes the paper from the front all the way out the back before it starts printing. If it doesn't go in, you may need to clean the roller in the front with a damp towel so it can grab better.

What is the correct way to load the paper.i cant get it to feed

On the Selphy printers you put the paper on the front tray just up to the rollers. When you print the paper is drawn in toward the rear, and then prints on the way back out to the front tray.

Need trouble code for selphy ds810 trouble code is 6000 or where can i get all of them

Error 6000 is a paper feed error, something may be inside stopping the feed rollers from turning, otherwise it could be ink on the paper feed sensors. If you can't see something inside like a paper clip or something else that doesn't belong, I would reccomend shop repair.
