Usually a leaking water valve can cause this. This can be caused by low or high water pressure or just a leaking valve. Remove the tube from the valve and if water continues to drip from the valve it is bad or the water pressure is wrong. If it does not drip, leave the water line disconnected from the valve and dispense some water from the dispenser to see if it leaks. If it does the water is bleeding over and the valve is bad. If the valve is not leaking at all insure the fill tube that goes through the box and supplies water to the ice maker is seated properly and sealed off with permagum for instance. Also make sure the freezer section is not too cold ie -15 or -20 as this could cause issues.

Hello,
A frost build up, specially on the ceiling of the freezer, is a sign of
problem in the self defrosting system or damaged gaskets of the doors.
Therefore, check if the refrigerator is facing such a problem and
defrost the refrigerator. It would not cool well if the defrosting is
not happening properly.
Take care.
