When moving my Uberhaus airconditioner, can I transport it sideways in my car, or does it need to stand straight up?

as the compressor has oil it it , it is best to transport it with the compressor the right way up so as to keep the oil in the compressor and not have it circulating through the ac system pipes
it circulates oil when running normally but as much that goes out with the gas so the same amount comes back in but when stationary and not correctly positioned , te oil will accumulate where it is not lubricating the compressor and so the compressor may run dry for a period until enough oil gets back through the system

Why does oil shoot out breather when I turn it on?

If the oil reservoir went dry, this will cause excessive heat and wear on the piston in the compressor. Once you refilled it, air now slips past the overly worn piston and blows oil out of the breather. This escaping air is the reason why the compressor will not get to more than 50 psi. You will need to repair (rebuild), or replace the compressor. Running it out of oil killed it.

What would cause compressor oil to migrate to dischage air.

If it is a screw compressor and by you saying you replaced the seperator i would say it it you need to check the scavange line. This is a pipe that goes to the bottom of the seperator filter and sucks any excess oil back into the bottom of the element (pump ) if this is blocked oil will pass down the line insted of going back into compressor. Check pipe on seperator and flex hose going from seperator vessel to bottom of element.

I want to know where the oil goes on this machine?

ON a d55155 compressor, you will find the dipstick on the left side as you are facing the control panel. Notice a small black knob on the end-bell of the pump. Pull out the dipstick and notice the oil level line just up from the tip of the stick. Over-filling will cause oil to leak. Use 30wt non-detergent oil or compressor oil. Good luck

How to put oil in the a/c compressor on a 2001 land rover discovery series ii

you can not put oil on yourself. You have to visit a qulified garage where they know how to do it. The oil goes with the same machine which is putting freon gas in the ac compressor.

What tpye of oil goes in the compressor

According to the Owner's Manual, 30 weight compressor oil is recommended. I'd use AMSOIL PCK, even though it's 40 weight. The pump will run cooler, last longer, use less gasoline, and require fewer oil changes. I'd also recommend AMSOIL's AFF 0W-40 Synthetic 4-Stroke Power Sports Oil for the motor for the same reasons.

I installed a new a/c compressor on a 91 geo metro.Where does the compressor oil go into the compressor at?

The compressor's oil is mixed with and circulates with the refrigerant. R134a refrigerant can be purchased with or without oil mixed into it. There are also separate oil 'chargers' that inject oil without the refrigerant.
