My Panasonic viera flat screen is blinking 4 times and pausing...what does this mean?
Heard loud click when turned off last night, today the power led light is only flashing, first flashed 10 times with pause now 4times with pause. What is going on?

go to Menu, AND restore to the factory default. Read your owner manual or download from www.fitness.manualsonline.com + www.retrevo.com If the problem persist, you have problem with the power supply circuit. You must go to the repair shop TV for fix it. God bless you
I had the same problem with my Viera. if you disconnect the power and ribbon cable from the YSUS board (check youtube for how), the light led will blink 6 times, indicating the YSUS is bad. Check ebay for TNPA5175 board (about $115-160). The "pop" is one of the DG402RP chips burnout. These are about $4, but only available from China. If you can wait a month for delivery, you can solder the new one to replace the bad one. You may want to purchase several in case more are bad or it happens again.
