For AC/DC you can go anywhere and get a 9VDC - 300 mA AC/DC wall wart with a 1.3 mm / 3.4 mm. plug. Radios Shack have gone to selling universal wall worts and selling the tips for them separate. So if you go to radio shack use tip "H" along with the spec I listed above. They will know which one if you give them that info.
I don't know where you live, but if you're in the US you're probably near a Radio Shack store. They have a good selection of replacement AC adapters (fondly called "wall warts"). You need to select one that has the appropriate voltage and current rating for the player, and a tip that fits the power jack with the proper polarity. RS sells adapters that have tips that plug onto the adapter cable so you can get what you need.
You can also check on eBay. As of right now (3:47PM Feb 7 2009) this auction is running for what you need:
I would suggest Radio Shack or similar local electronics store that specializes in electronics for hobbyists(meaning Best Buy and Circuit City would not be my first choice). The trick will be to match the output voltage and amperage, which should be listed on the label attached to the unit (sometimes on the bottom) or listed on the old home AC adapter if you still have it. The other thing to keep in mind is the size of the plug connector which the adapter uses to connect to the unit. Take the unit to Radio Shack and they should be able to figure out which AC adapter is right for your unit.
