Thank you for your post, friend!

I understand that you would like to know how to take apart your Frigidaire washer. Is there a specific component you are searching for or did your washer provide you with an error code. If you could provide me with a model number I would be able to further assist you. You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the door frame of your washer. With that additional information I would be happy to assist you. -Matt

Dryer running super hot, can barely touch clothes

Normally it is a Heat sensor attached to the Heater Coil housing.BUT just lately I've saw one of the Coils itself come apart and ground itself to the inside of the housing. It actually checked out good. BUT the housing had to be taken apart to see the problem.

Dryer runs but won't heat

You will need a professional to diagnose the thermal limiter, small version of a fuse, heating element and the dryer/blower assembly.

Dryer is sqealing

have you inspected the belt on it? sounds to me like one of the components inside the dryer like the belt could be worn out or rubbing. Dryers are fairly simple to take apart, just take a few screws out and look around to see what you see

There is a plastic oval piece that fits between the inside of dryer door and outer drum. This piece broke apart. Is this the cause of the noise when dryer is on? Close can easily get caught between frame...

Most frigidaire dryers have front felt seals with nylon slides on top that the front of the drum rides on. Without M# can't be sure if yours is like this.

Burning smells

Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.(this is a fire hazard)

Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task.

Frigidaire combo washer/dryer screws inside come off

The drum shaft came loose from drum. You can YouTube it for procedure of disassembly of dryer. Remount shaft, if screws are bad may need new shaft with screws, make sure it is tight to drum. While you have it apart you can clean out lint.

Frigidaire electric dryer; model # FDEB34RGS1- gets TOO hot!

I could not find the model number you listed. I also would be very concerned about over heating until we can find and locate the problem. Look inside the door and compare number with the on listed here at Fixya. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Frigidaire dryer problem

The vent duct length's sound fine.

Have you confirmed that the heater element is working? You don't mention whether the unit get's hot.

If it get's hot, then suspect the thermostat, or the overtemp stat.

Also, be suspect that users are overloading the dryer.

Also make sure that you feel a strong blast of hot air discharging at the vent end, with the washer/dryer in place.

Check that the vent grills inside of the dryer are clear.

Reply back and I can help you further.
