My flexible extension is not working on my dremel but the dremel works fine without it. What can i try to get the flexi hose to work?

I have unscrewed the flexi hose and re attached it. The flexi hose hasnt been attached for some time - don't know if that's the problem. My dremel is at least 10 years old

Hi Anonymous, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Model of the dremel and flex-shaft extension please.
What exactly have you done so far and what is "not working"? Is flex-shaft bound up and will not spin. If you turn one of the flex-shaft end by hand does the other end spin? Since it has not been used in some time, you first want to find if the shaft is not bound up inside the sheath.

Can you turn the flexi hose by hand? if it turns does the other end turn with it? It could be broken inside or it could be seized. If it is seized you might try soaking it in some liquid wrench or other penetrating oil. If it turns freely and the other end turns it may be an attachment problem where the cable isn't engaged by the dremel.

My samsung star mobile is not working. the touch of screen is not working only hard buttons are working. please give the solution for this.

Hello,

The reason your phones touch screen is not working is simply because there is a problem with the flexi of the phone.

If the screen is not damaged in any way, then the assumption of it being the screen is absolutely correct.

To fix the flexi of the phone;

1. Get the appropriate screwdriver,
2. remove the battery, the battery cover, and your sim,
3. Turn the back of the phone,
4. you will see five rubbers,
5. pick them off with a pincher, you will see screws under them, unscrew the phone,
6. Get a credit card and slip it through the line around the phone then apply a little force in separating them apart,
7. you will see the panel of the phone, carefully lift it up,
8. you will see a flexi that runs through the screen to the panel, carefully detach the flexi from the panel,
9. unscrew the screen of the phone, remove the flexi connected to the screen also and replace it.
10. Reverse the process to reassemble the phone.

Take care in solving the problem...

My henry vacuum has lost suction and there's no blockage in the pipe.

Suction cannot be lost if the motor is running normally unless the air flow has been interupted. Lift out and clean the filter so air can flow through, replace the bag, unscrew the flexi hose at his "nose", and also remove from the steel pipes. Finally drop a

How do you remove the plastic end fitted to the flexible hose

Not necessarily. Some Dyson models have an all inclusive flexi hose which attaches to the handle spine. Check EBay for replacement flexi hoses - UK has many sellers - or handles which have the metal pole and the flexi tube attached.
Alternatively take off the flexi hose from the bottom rear of the Dyson - it can come out via a press in lock release but it may take some time to do this. Once that is done the flexi hose should come down freely from the metal tube. If it doesnt then you may need to consider both replacements.
Dont forget to rate, thanks.

Too much suction

Hi.

I have repaired Dyson machines for years & have never come accross this.
The only way you will have trouble extending the hose is if there is a blockage at the bend where you hold the wand could be a coin which when switched on flips accross & blocks oppening.

Is it easy to slide wand from flexi hose with machine switched off ?

If yes you probably have grit stuck under the collar that you push the button to unlock flexi hose from pipe.
