How do i uninstall ask

Here's how you can get rid of ASK toolbar and set Google as you homepage:

1.To uninstall Ask Toolbar program from Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, click the "Start" button, then click on the "Control Panel" menu option.
If you are using Windows 8, simply drag your mouse pointer to the right edge of the screen, select Search from the list and search for "control panel" .Or you can right-click on a bottom left hot corner (formerly known as the Start button) and select Control Panel from there.
2.When the "Control Panel" window opens click on the "Uninstall a program" option under "Programs" category. This option is shown by the arrow in the image below. If you are using the "Classic View" of the Control Panel, then you would double-click on the "Programs and Features" icon instead.
3.When the "Programs and Features" or the "Uninstall a Program" screen is displayed, scroll through the list of currently installed programs and uninstall Ask Toolbar, Ask Toolbar Updater, Ask Updater and any other recently installed or unknown programs from your computer. That should uninstall Ask toolbar from your computer. You'll also need to remove extensions from your browsers. Manualy remove all files of ASK , and then type regedit in RUN and search for ASK (find, then find next). Remove all registry entries of it then restart.
I assume you have windows OS.

go to control panel > programs and features and uninstall ask.

Go to google then top of page click internet options...general tab You should see google address in box. Click use current.... If that doesn't work download ccleaner free download. It will let u Uninstall programs you should see ask as one of programs ..uninstall it

I would use iobit uninstaller to remove the program completely, it also has a feature for removing browser extensions like conduit toolbar.

Go to your settings on google chrome and locate the extensions section. Find and remove Ask toolbar, if it exists.

Then go to the control panel for windows and locate the Add-Remove Programs (windows XP) or Programs and Features (windows vista and 7) and locate any instance of Ask toolbar and uninstall it.

Adobe flash player and google toolbar are 2 different things. I don't think you want to get rid of adobe flash player because it is needed to correctly display many web pages but you can get rid of google toolbar.

To do that, go to start, control panel, and under programs, click uninstall programs. Scroll down until you see google toolbar. Click on google toolbar to highlight it. On the top of the window, click uninstall. Follow the wizard until it says the program was successfully uninstalled. You may need to restart your computer once the program is uninstalled.
