Check pages 8, 9, 10, 24, 25 and 26. Sounds like the body VIN is only a partial of the actual Vehicle Identification Number. I am confident your question(s) may be answered when you read this.
Good luck!

Where on the rear frame or bed on an later '70's /Early 80's Toyota pickup can I find the VIN #?

For that you don't need a VIN number. You register it as a home fabricated trailer and put your own number on it with metal stamps 'GG/2022001'. It has to be on the A-Frame where the hitch will be. If you are good with welding, you can draw it in weld, but they might want it stamped as weld can be ground off.

Here is the information, but the information isn't needed. VIN is on door frame on sticker, viewable through the windshield and under the carpet just bt the driver door, BUT none of that applies because your part has NO VIN number, it is a new fabrication.

I would like to know wher my Nissa 1400 hidden vin number is?

Lots of late model cars have the vin stamped or engraved on many of the major body parts to deter car theft and for some time the driver's footwell has been a common place to find a vin, sometimes hidden behind a flap cut in the carpet for the purpose.

The vehicle handbook generally provides details of how to find the identity numbers.

Looking for second VIN# on 03GSXR 600 supposed to be on sticker somewhere on bike

The VIN may be found:
Under the seat stamped into the top of the frame LH side
On the front of the frame viewed above the front wheel
On the front right frame down tube
Under the seat on the rear cross member
Stamped into the steering headstock viewed by turning the handlebars to the left

VIN data build plates can be found:
On the headstock near the VIN

On the frame side tubes
Under the seat
The VIN plates are either riveted to the frame or on later models are in a black tamper proof sticker format

Where is the vin number located on a 1999 kawaski mule, need help asap thanks

For most late-model Mule™ side x side, the VIN is located on the forward frame rail below the seat. For all Trans4X4® models, the VIN is on the left rear driver seat frame rail, and Mule™ 600/610 4X4 models have it on the frame rail below the seat over the fuel tank. On most older Mule models, the VIN is near the front of the vehicle

Were can I find the hidden vin # on a 1953 Ford F-350 50th anniv chassie??? pls help

From FordBarn.com - -
Engine compartment, top of the frame rail, light stampings (use a light on an angle after using fine emery paper or fine steel wool to remove the rust and crud), etc.. Ford assembly plants had a habit of moving it around. Most are on the passenger side, but you'll find them from time to time on the driver's side.

Looking for vin number on a 1955 ford pick up where is it

Ford moved the "vin tag" around a lot in the 50-60s from door posts, door edge and glove box doors. I'm am not sure exactly when but by the late 50' and 60's ford also stamped the vin number on the frame. They were located on the passenger side about mid engine on the top of the frame rail and also on top of the frame on the same side underneath the cab. This was the secret vin that police and insurance companies looked for on stolen cars as they were not listed in the owners manual or common repair manuals. The one under the cab can be seen with a mirror but is not where it could be filled off or rest amped without removing the cab from the frame. I have restored a 58, 61,65 and 66 ford pickups and all of them had the vin on the frames. I have run across lots of trucks where they simply moves the glove box door or swapped doors to change the vin on a Ford truck or moved the metal I'd tag but it is seldom they remember the frame stamping of the vin. They also all had a star at the beginning and end of the stamping.
