This is determined by your network. Please contact your service provider to determine if this can be adjusted for your account. I have seen some providers post codes you can enter to adjust your settings yourself but it is best to contact the provider directly.

Do you mean before the answerphone kicks in? If so, that time is usually set by your phone company and not on your phone ~ you might be able to adjust it if you have an online billing -> account -> settings.

How do i increase ring time for my motorola g 2nd generation

Go to Settings, My device, then scroll down to ringer. Slide the bar all the way to the right for ring time. Then back out of the screen. Test it to see if you like that better.

How do I extend the ring time( number of rings or seconds)

If you press the 'menu' button on the top right side of the keypad it should open up the menu settings allowing you to set the number of desired rings. If the phone was recently purchased there may be a manual to look at for instructions. Good luck. :-)

Extend number of rings before answering machine

The 6041 isn't an answering machine. It will ring until you pick up, an answering machine or voicemail system picks up, or the caller hangs up.

Please refer to the documentation for whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have on your phone line. If you require further assistance, please add a comment to this question and specify the answering machine or voicemail system.

Our DECT2015 phone only rings 4 times and then stops. How cane I adjust the ringing time of our phone? Thanks Peter

Do you have voicemail or an answering machine? This is usually a sign that another device (fax, answering machine or voicemail service) is set to answer the call after 4 rings. You will need to lengthen to number of rings before the service/device in question picks up. (The method to reset this will depend on the service/device that is picking up.) Another possibility is a call forwarding service that is enabled at 4 rings.

I hope this helps. Please write back with details on the device that could be picking up for details on setting the number of rings. If you have voicemail or call forwarding, check with your telephone service provider to lengthen the number of rings before the service kicks in. (There are too many for me to know all of the providers instructions.)

Incoming calls ring 3 times at main extension, then phone stops ringing at main & rolls over to ring at all other phones. Phone rings once at those extensions before going to voicemail. (We have...

Your voicemail thinks that it is ringing six times. The time that it takes to transfer to the extensions counts. Whiloe it seems that there is a lapse the system actually is using enough time to ring six times total. If you need longer ring time at the extension, take in account the transfer time and set it to pick up after 8 or 9 rings. It will actually only ring six. You just have to trick the system a little.

# of rings before voicemail picks up

Yes there is, but you have to know multiplication :-)

At the extension, from the intercom dial *713 and the 2-digit time in seconds. An internal ring cycle is about 6 seconds. I think the default time comes from the system and it may be 40 seconds.
