Hitachi convergence issues

Ur universal remote was able to move - + from the convergence grid wright,it is a good remote.The tv convergence board is dead.The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors are dead too.These parts must be replaced on the tv convergence board to solved the tv pictures convergence problems.The shop,will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

Try to adjust the convergence setting in your remote, if still does not work replace your convergence ic it has a print STK followed by a numbers it is located in your main board.

Try adjusting the convergence. If it won't move see below- (or hitting Magic Focus for some Hitachi’s)

most likely you have bad connections on green stk solder the connections or replace the stk check all fuses too

Yes it certainly sounds like you have the old convergence outpuyt IC's that have gone bad in this TV set. If you have the soldering skills, and know how to work on printed circuit boards, you can repolace both of the STK convergence IC's.
