I have an intex purespa that has stopped heating due to no water flow (code 90). When i turn on the filter button, the unit turns off within seconds. I turned the filter on and pumped air through the inlet hose with an air pump, the unit stayed on. This leads me to believe the problem is with whatever motor filters the water through the system. Does anyone have any idea which part of the unit would house that? Pictures are appreciated!

I had a problem similar the water flow was good but still coded E90 after 9 sec. I put a magnet next to the water flow sensor. Finally after a long time trying to diagnosing the problem this finally worked
I taped a magnet to it and put it he base back together. Been over a week now and it's still working!

Have you cleaned filter? Before you do all this, dirty filter creates a code 90, so clean it if you didn't.

SOURCE: I cannot get the pump to pump water, motor still works.

Sounds like air has gotten into the pump and froze the pump. It will need to be replaced due to that reason. You can get a repair kit for the pump but it will not be gaurenteed to work

Intex Purespa SB-H20: leak in top connector between spa control unit and tub.

Question edited for clarity, name of maker.
Question moved from washing machines.

For water rushing out, try and block from the other side so water doesn't reach the part you are undoing. Here is a parts diagram and all the washers and O-rings. Your local pool supplier probably carries them.

Error code 90 on my Intex spa even after buying and replacing new pump . Checked for blockages but everything is clear. Got clean water in and new filter.

The E90 code on the Intex spa is due to a dirty water flow sensor. ... The black wire is plugged into a white wire, carefully unplug it and unscrew the sensor. Clean it good and blow out the hole it goes in. This will fix the code and you will be back in business https://www.justanswer.com/pool-and-spa/ap9qh-i-m-having-error-code-90-intex-hot-tub-intex.html

Low flow code 90 brand new intex sand filter

when mine does this, I open the skimmer cover until I can hear air escaping. Let some air out and then turn the cover back on. Also I will turn the valve open on the intake hose and then put back on. Just keep doing things like that to get the water flow started. It eventually starts.
