Help Please!!! Cannot view some pictures in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1

Camera to PC connections for downloading pics are so troublesome that pros never do it that way....they always use a card reader....you should too. Once you do, you'll never go back.

Check if you can take pictures , if you can take picture the same and tranfer them to computer, then it is either a faulty lcd display, or the display cable out of place

Do what the pros do...use a card reader.

Well you have to go to your menu and change your camera settings. Hope this helps!?

The easiest way to download your pics to a Mac is to use a card reader. You can transfer the pics to a folder you create on your desktop and view them from there or import them to iphoto.

I have "acquired" photographs from my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX 8 using Lumix Simple Viewer onto my computer, and I am able to view them. However, I need them in a format that I can now copy them onto a CD or attach them as files to emails (without using the "Send by e-mail" function). I am sure this is simple, but is anyone able to help me?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.
