Laserjet p2055d.when print 1doc it prints extra blank page. what could it be?

does this happen in all jobs or just certain jobs.Try printing a config page by going to reports and config page, enter.

Probably a bad ink cartridge. Remove the cartridge and clean the face of it with alcohol to remove dried or clotted ink.

it sounds like your printer cannot translate the the graphics being sent from your computer.
It may be that one of your printer settings is not set correctly.
Or, it may be as simple a solution as updating your driver for your printer.

Hi over the years on working on these printers I have found the transfer belt-kit causes this model to print blank pages i would try this

did you try the hp laserjetIII driver

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.
