I have a standard zenith 32" television. When it has been off for a few hours I can only get it to power up if I repeatedly hit the power button, when it finally does power up and a picture appears it shuts off right away. I have to go through that atleast six times before it will stay on. Is this a problem that can be fixed or should I look into a new television?
There is a problem in electrolytic capacitors, probably the 300V one in the primary section of the power supply.
You should measure if there is a stable 300 V available in the primairy section...
