Locked keyboard on lenovo x201 - IBM Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Notebook

no support for it on the USA forum, so where are you,?

problem is you failed to state the full model name.
so finding it hard,
it is a THINKPAD ,1-- years old today,.2008 made.

i see a Spanish PC her.

its either that or USA support ended, at the lenovo usa site.

if you google for it you will find it,

That means the connecting bus(cable) from the motherboard to the screen is damaged you can check it by opening slowly the screen of ur thinkpad if display comes at some place then the bus is damaged either replace that bus or the screen might be faulty you have to get replaced your thinkpad screen in this case

You want to get it into safe mode, this can be done through spamming one of the F keys while its booting up, Either F5 or F8 most commonly. Once done enter in safe mode and there will be an ADMIN login with no password. Simply log in using that account and then go into account settings and delete the other profile.

go to system menu then click bluetooth to turn it on

I always recommend popping out the CMOS battery and then putting it back in. This resets all of the settings in the BIOS including the password. In the case of a laptop it can be a bit of work to open it, locate the battery and perform this but it is much less risky than uses the software that is available to crack the BIOS password and then remove it.

I unplugged the moniter, mouse keyboard and power. I plugged in the mouse, keyboard, moniter and then the power. I placed the laptop on the docking station and it worked.
