Try to turn on the switch the wires around but it still want show anything but a blue blank screen

The pixels on your screen are controlled by a matrix composed of switches that turn off and on to produce light.
They are located vertically and horizontally, row-wise and must function together to produce everything from black (everything turned on so no light, or very little, can escape) to layers that represent the three colors that are used alone or in combination to produce the millions of possible shades of each.
One of the switches that controls one of the vertical columns has failed and has turned on the entire column that allows red to display.
The problem switch (a semiconductor combined with many) is permanently turned on, probably part of the screen assembly itself, and was placed with others by robots.
The pin spacing on these 'chips' is very small and often makes the assembly unrepairable.
While LCD panels have fallen hugely in price, you may be looking at a parts cost (labor is probably not too bad) that may make you decide to replace the set.
Unfortunately, the once-proud Emerson name has sadly been degraded and there is a lot of their electronics available from companies that specialize in 'refurbished' products, an indication that they have a large failure rate.

Hi
There are multiple reasons due to which the tv has no picture or sound/Blank Screen. First try and use the TV with a DVD palyer and see if it works. Also try using HDMI cables if you are using Component cables or component cables if you're using HDMI cable. This kind of issue arises when the control board is faulty(in case of no picture and no sound).
If it doesn't work then it can be due to loose connections, burnt components and/or faulty Control board. You'll need to open the back panel of the TV. The first thing to check out would be loose connections or any burnt components on the control board.
After the connections are checked you'll need to check for the control board of the TV using a CRO(Cathode ray ossciloscope)/Ossciloscope for bad IC's and other components. If you have a CRO then its very easy to check for a bad IC by desoldering each and every IC on the board and then checking it by a Oscilloscope. You cannot check the TV's Control Board using a Multimeter.
Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks

ATT Uverse remote doesn't work well with Emerson TVs. Most will turn off with the correct code but NOT ON. Find the code that will turn OFF the Emerson TV.(volume should work too) When you want to want to turn ON your Emerson TV Try This (Believe it or not) Wave ATT Remote slowly and press ON in mid wave. The ATT remote on frequency must be slightly off. This works every time for me now that I know the secret.
