SOURCE: Playback modes

There are playback modes such as single-frame, Index (you can select the number of frames to display on the monitor from 4, 9 or 16 frames), Close-up (2x through 10x magnification), Slideshow (display the stored images one after another in succession) or playback images by rotating.

SOURCE: Saving zoom in photos

You can't. The inphoto digital zoom is just so you can do it. The best thing to do is download the photo to your computer and then use the camera software to zoom/crop etc. Then you can save the altered image.

I have a Pentax Optio E40 and get the message that the built in memory is full. How can I see what is in that memory? Can I delete those pictures to clear the memory?

Yes you can play back the images and/or delete them from the internal memory from the camera. I strongly recommend an SD card in the future. The internal memory can hold a maximum of about 87 pictures at the lowest resolution (2 pictures at the highest resolution). It'll be easiest to view the current pictures without an SD card in place.

To view the pictures, press the playback button (above and to the left of the 4-way arrow buttons) on the back of the camera. Use the left/right buttons in that 4-way area to navigate through the pictures. (You'll start at the last photo.) If you want to start the camera in playback mode, just press and hold the playback button while you turn on the camera.

To delete the picture that you are looking at, press the green/trash button to the right of the Menu button. Then press the up/down arrows to reach Delete and click OK (in the center of the 4-way buttons). (See Page 100 (page 102) of the manual.)

If you press the green button twice, you'll get a prompt to Delete all. That is similarly navigated with the up/down arrows and then OK.

Ricoh owns the Pentax Optio Line and has the manuals here: http://www.us.ricoh-imaging.com/support/download-details/356 . (You'll need Adobe Reader to access the program.) The user manual is the second link.

I hope this helps.

How to delete photos

To delete individual photos, use the Delete button (cursor-up, marked with a trashcan) while in Playback mode. See page 45 of this manual. To delete all photos in internal memory or on a memory card, format the internal memory or the memory card. See page 66.

How can i get photos from my Internal memory to my S.D. card? can't see an option on the menu and can't view photos from the internal memory whilst there's the memory card in it.

Put the card in the camera. Press the Playback button (right-pointing triangle). Yes, you won't see any pictures from the internal memory with the card in. Press MENU/OK to bring up the playback menu. Use cursor-up/down to highlight "Copy" and press cursor-right. Press cursor-up/down to select "INTERNAL MEMORY TO CARD" and press cursor-right. Select the desired option and press MENU/OK.

Full details are in the "Copy" subsection of "The Playback Menu" section of the manual (page 70 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at

Deleting protected pictures

"Protecting Photographs from Deletion

In full-frame, zoom, and thumbnail playback, the button can be used to protect photographs

from accidental deletion. Protected files can not be deleted using the button or

the Delete option in the playback menu, and have DOS "read-only" status when viewed on

a Windows computer. Note that protected files will be deleted when the memory card is
formatted"

How do I format an SD card for a Vivicam 3785?

You can format the SD card in your ViviCam 3785.

This utility formats the internal memory (or memory card) and erases all stored images and data. Make sure your SD card is in the unlocked position.
1. Press the button to turn on your ViviCam 3785.
2. Press the MODE button twice to enter Playback mode. Then press
the button to enter the Playback menu.
3. Select [Delete] by using the up/down arrow buttons, and press the OK button.
4. Select [Format ] by using the up/down arrow buttons, and press the OK button.
5. If you want to format your SD memory card or the internal memory choose
[OK] by pressing up/down arrow buttons, then press the OK button to confirm.
To cancel the action, select [Cancel] instead.
[No Image] pops up after the SD memory card or internal memory
has been formatted.

Kodak M1033 does not recognize memory card

  1. Turn camera on
  2. Push the options/settings button (the button next to the view/playback button)
  3. On the Capture Screen move over to "Setup"
  4. Move down to "Image Storage" and make sure its set to "Auto" {if not select it and set it to Auto}
  5. If already set to Auto, change to Internal Memory.
  6. Power off and power back on then follow steps 1-4 to set back to Auto.
If this still doesn't work, backup pictures from internal memory to computer then delete all pictures on internal memery. Camera should automatically prompt you to change to memory card.

Need to delete memory

You need to remove the memory card from the camcorder and place it into a pc or photo shops computer. This will allow you to view the saved items on the memory card. You can then save these to disc and delete the contents on the card.
