Electrolux EWF1495 front loading washing machine. If I select a wash cycle, it will fill with water, then the drum turns a once then it stops. If I then select spin cycle it will drain the water then drum slowly turns over once then stops for a few mins then repeats. Opened and checked the drive belt - it looks fine?? Any suggestions?

thas a question that the manufactuer should be able to answer for you, ifnot the dealer that your goingto purchase tehunit through should be able to get you those specs.

Check motor capacitor first.Try moving the drum and see there is no extra friction. If your washer has got braking mechanism check the brakes also. ( I have no idea about this model regarding break)
OK, first remove the rear access panel. You will see a drain boot going from the tub to the pump. You will need to remove that boot and inside is a filter that you need to clean out. Reassemble and run a load and let me know what happens.
