Ebay lists 7 search results between £30 - £190 I guess it depends on the exact age and model and providence of the particular watch. Only a valuation by someone who is familiar with this market would be able to tell you.

I say no . An appraisal you must show the item to see what condition it is in ,what it is made of, and the rarity of the piece. There are several web sites that will give you a price range for your watch. Ebay under antique pocket watches , will give you a good idea what pocket watches similar to yours is been sold for.

What would be the value of my vintage watch?

It looks like a gold filled case and of course it's a standard wind. I would put a value on your watch if it is in running order of $100.00. This may not be what you could get for it but if it was being sold in good running condition that would be a fair price. Hope this helps, gabe.

Its time for a service.
Take it to any Rolex re-seller that offers repair or to any good timepiece service center. If its a vintage piece i would recommend sending it to Rolex, paying the extra cost to receive the watch with full Rolex repair documents and service history. This is just a personal suggestion that I have.
It sounds like you have a vintage Bulova watch and unless there is a watchmaker near you who deals with vintage watches (they are hard to come by!) you will have to rely on the internet but it could be a time consuming project.
What I would do, is go to www.google.com , type in vintage 14 kt Bulova, or 14 kt Bulova, or similar combination, and click on the IMAGE link (second tab at the top of page) and it will bring up every image on the internet of 14 kt bulova watches, etc. Look for the one that looks like yours and then go to the site that has that photo.. It might be helpful
Whatever you do, you have a good watch, Dont get rid of it as the gold is valuable, even if the watch does not work.

Vintage Caravelle runs fast

A quick look at ebay shows plenty of Bulova watches and only a few looking for a worthwhile price.

I think if you have it repaired for sale it probably won't be worth the effort or expense. If the watch has sentimental or nostalgia value to you I think that is what would make it worth getting a good watchmaker to look at it.
