Is the oil coll and it still doesnt reset? If so the hi limit is bad, which is the reset. If you gain acess to it you will see 2 wires.Connect these wires and it should heat.HOWEVER this is a saftey device that prevents the oil from getting too hot and catching on fire.

Hello. Here is a wiring diagram for your unit:
Check to see that the thermostat clicks at or about just above on, try again the reset, sometimes it is hard to push in all the way. If that does not correct the problem, make sure your power is on, do any indicators light? It could be as simple as a burnt of wire, you will need to check the resistance of the parts to tell any more, thermostat, and hi-limit should read closed (zero). The element should read 4 to 15 ohms each, there are 3 in the tube. The relay coil should be anywhere from 200 to 1200 ohms, the contacts open. I have seen broken wires in the pivot elbow where power comes up the the element head.
Hope that helped, and thank you.

SOURCE: Hi I believe I have
Running the fryer with no oil will over heat the coil very quickly...this caused the element to burn out...
That element will be replaceable...
If you call these guys you should be able to purchase a new element from them...
