Look between roof & base of AC unit for little round button like pieces sticking down, which are drains, that have holes in sides that get plugged up. poking with a piece of wire or similar in that hole may unplug it. You should see at least 2. Depending on what type of AC unit, it may just be holes in base for drainage, but if necessary to unplug, you can easily remove cover. Coleman has 4 big Philips screws on top to remove & dometic has a bunch of Philips screws around lower edge to remove & cover will come off, to check where plugged. Make sure power is off inside.(breaker) You should see a trail of water across roof from AC when running & cooling, if not plugged. There is the posibility of a cracked drainage tray allowing water to leak inside as well on some of the older models. You should be able to inspect all of that when cover is off on roof. P.S. CAREFUL! Observe before lifting cover off for wasps in the area, as not unusual for them to make nests under cover. Be prepared, or do on cloudy day, early in the morning, or near sundown when less active. Also, if dew on roof, could be slippery.

My normal and Eco light keep flickeing and there is still water in my filter

Hello. That flashing combo of lights is an error code telling you that something has malfunctioned. Most likely, from what you describe, the drain pump is clogged or jammed. I need the model number for a more exact diagnosis of the error code--its a digital code--the lights will flash a certain number of times, usually. The clue here is the water left standing in the tub. It means the drain pump failed to evacuate all the water out. When you cancel/drain, do you hear the drain pump turn on? If so, then the main board is activating properly and sending 120volts to the pump. Probably the pump is clogged with food or debris, and/or the drain hose is clogged. If you don't hear anything, then the kick panel(below the door) must be removed, the pump, wiring, main board must be checked. Check the filter inside the floor of the washer--if it's gunked up, the main pump can't spray properly and the drain pump can't pull water out.

Way too much condensation, cannot keep up with it.

Where exactly is the condensation??? If anywhere inside the refrigerator like on the walls and packages or excessive frost of freezer packages, you probably have an air leak from one of the doors at the gasket area. Check doors for proper seal and no cuts or breaks in gaskets.

How do you know remote is working?

Fresh batteries in remote? Will AC turn on by manually at ceiling assembly? Little green or red light on at ceiling assy? Have you checked Carrier site for manual to download?

RV AC is working fine, but the water is leaking from the ceiling Where is the drain tube on the unit, The AC unit is a roof type, Duo Therm serial # 43404934, Part # 3105459

Normally, the condensate will drain out of the unit onto the roof and off the edge to the ground. Remove your cover inside (probably 2 screws) and tighten the 4 bolts you will find inside. If they are tight, go to your RV supply place and get new roof gasket. Remove the AC and insert the new gasket and resecure the AC to your roof.

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

I have a travel trailer with a coleman 7300 roof top ac unit. the unit will blow cold air but water leaks thru the plenum. i was told by the previous owner that it needs a new seal. i would like to fix it...

If it's leaking inside where filter cover is, then real good chance the drains being plugged is the only problem. If water (condensation) not running off roof when operating in cool mode, then I'd bet drains, which are located under unit on roof, and you should see them sticking down like buttons. They have a hole in side that needs cleaning with a pipe cleaner or similar to open them up. If need be, shut off power to unit and remove top cover on roof unit and look for the drain holes in base, and clean them out. If water comes in while raining, but AC not running, then it's gasket. That is remedied by removing ceiling assembly (just screws) and 4 bolts that pull/hold the upper and lower assemblies together, unplug wiring to upper unit, and simply lift it off, change gasket and re-install. Tighten those 4 bolts equally when gasket is aligned properly over hole, only until gasket is approx 1/2, original thickness. Plug harness back in and your done. (about an hours work.) Only other thing that may be wrong is styrofoam drip tray for cooling unit, under cover on roof may have a crack , allowing condensation to leak in. If that 's the case, you can try to find a sealant compatible with styrofoam to seal those cracks.

Water coming from ceiling about 3 foot from unit

Does the unit work other, than the leaking? If it does you need to install a square seal between the ac unit and the roof. You can either buy the seal from Ebay or I would recomend an Rv Repair place.(They Might even be able to install it where the Rv Sits)

On my 28 foot Itasca motorhome the air conditioner is leaking water through the gasket on the roof. I pulled the inside cover off and took out the four big boltd holding the roof top section, but I can't...

You need to find where the drain is. The water should flow to a drain and not into the unit. Once you get the condensation draining properly you can use a good quality silicone to seat around the unit. You might check at a RV parts place and find a product they recommend for RV roofs. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if a Duo Therm model 620515.331c is ducted or not???

The upper unit itself is not ducted. They are all the same. The ducting is done with the lower unit or "Ceiling Pack" of the air conditioner. You need to see your RV is ducted, ie...vents in the ceiling that blow the are out. Usually they are round and mount into the ceiling. Another way to tell is if the unit has a wall mounted thermostat.

Hope this helps,

Jeff
