Go to device manager locate the speakers, right click and update drivers, if that fails search google for that sound card driver.

I have my speakers plugged into USB port. The light is on on the speakers and there is static coming from the speakers, but I am getting no sound from the computer. We moved the computer and the speakers were working before it was moved.

Speakers come on but no sound comes out.

Well you may want to double check if you have two sound cards if so make sure your pluged into the right one its usually green in color. You also might want to try these on another device and see if they work, speakers dont just give out. There is no fussy logic to them you just got to make sure your connecting them to the right connector on the sound card if its USB speakers then you need to wrok within the confines of drivers.

Static only

If you have anything electronic move it away from the speakers it can cause interference. Then clean the plug for the speakers into the machine as well as the port. The way to do this is with electrical cleaner. Put some on the end of the jack and with the computer and speakers off spin it in the jack to clean it.

Durabrand UC-280 Speakers not working. I think it is a spec in my PC (which is operating on Windows XP) that I cannot find.

Did you try reinstalling the sound driver for the speakers? That should work.

Let me know how it goes bro.

Can't get my durabrand uc-280 computer spreakers to work

Check the volume on the systems itself. The difference of hardware won't matter has long as you have the correct driver for each hardware. Just check the volume & still doesn't work GET BAC @ME.
