Question about HP LaserJet 3015 All-In-One Printer

2 Answers

Why is my HP Laserjet 3015 All-in-One Printer printing horizontal black lines on all pages that are printed or copied (haven't used the fax for a while, so don't know if that is also affected). These horizontal lines are about 1/8" thick and spaced every 3" all the way down the page. I've run the cleaning function several times and the result was that I would get 6 or 8 copies/prints without any lines, then it starts again. The last time I ran the cleaning function, it didn't do anything at all, and even the first copy afterward had horizontal lines. Sure would appreciate any advice or recommendations!

My hp laserjet 3015 printer is printing all my pages in just one page

Check your printer driver. The printer is doing what the driver is telling it to do. Check the "printing preferences" button. Set it up to print "1 page per sheet".

HP 3055 All In One laserjet prints all black pages

Odds are that you have a bad toner cartridge; especially common when using remanufactured cartridges. (Staples, Corporate Express, etc.) Replace your cartridge with an OEM HP cartridge and you should be OK.

HP Laserjet 3330 printed dark page especially around the middle

Does this happen both when copying and printing?
For printing solution, try another toner cartridge.
If lines continue to appear when copying (primarily through the automatic feeder) then lift the auto feeder, and clean the glass -mainly the narrow piece on the left side.

please rate solution :)

Copies and faxes come out with 5 inch black area over whole page

Does this same thing happen if you just print a report out of it?

Here's the logic behind this.

If it happens on scanning or copying, but not on printing that's a problem with the scanning section.

If it happens on everything (scanning, printing etc) that's a problem with in the printer controls.

Usually on lasers, if it's printing related, the first thing to do is change the toner.
If the imaging drum (which is part of the toner cartridge) is damaged, it will leave lines down the page.
This is a fairly common problem on refilled toners.

If you have changed the toner, and it still does it, it's a different problem.
