remove all toners and on the left hand side is the waste ink container. You should be able to simply remove. and yes you will have to order a new one, or try and empty that one
My Samsung CLX-3175 printer will not print - the message is replace/install toner waste bin. I have emptied the waste bin of all the ink and still the message will not go. I have a stack of work to do and am stuck as to what to do next! Help please
open the cover and now remove the waist toner container (you say it is empty) check the conection to the drum unit sometimes if the waist toner is verry full there is a pille of toner closing this connection, now clean it and all the sorounding from the toner and mount the waist container back in his possition, close the front cover and try, it should work now.
If you open the front of the printer then you will find a waste tank in the left side - its gray. Take it out and empty it, and put the tank back in place.
This works for Samsung CLX-2160
Easily Solved! I've got the the Samung CLX-2160 and I have was getting the same message
"Replace/install Waste Toner Tank". The first thing I asked myself was, what is the 'Waste Toner Tank'? After typing in into google, I realised that the 'Waste Toner Tank' is the grey colored part located to the left (If you're facing it) of the toners barrel. So all you need to do is take the Waste Tone Tank out, shake out all the waste tone from it and replace it. Your printer will be up and running like the first time!!!
