Power off the machine. Now hold down the 2 and the 5 and power on. Mode 25 screen appears. Touch the Soft switch tab in the first box on your left you will put a 3 in the middle box you will put a "1" the third box you will change the "1" to a "0". Close out to original screen and power off the machine. Wait 10 second power on should get your ready to copy, if the code does come back DO NOT RESET the machine again! It is indicating a problem the code you are resetting is the fuser and it can catch on fire! That will ruin a perfectly good day!!!
Below the drum is a assy. which has two/three very fine wires each carries a High Voltage (Only) during the copy process. the paper goes between these wires and the drum. The wires allow the paper to steal the image off the drum. Well these wire can become dirty, so they have a motor that runs a small cleaning pad across them, your code deals with that open the center section should see the assy. might be the one of the cleaning pads is stuck, the pads work go from one side (Rear to front/front to rear) to the other and back job done. Is the pad in the middle or stuck.
Remove the assy. and bring the pad to the front. Also can allow the motor not to do anything. In service mode 25.
Sir/Mam, please check the model and the code looking at service manual for the Konica Series 7255 not such code per what model you currently have this problem with
The sensor is located on the left side of the drum cartridge it is a sensor that is covered with a white cover to the rear of the drum you must remove the drum to see it clean with cloth not a vacuum cleaner Static from vacuum can destroy it. The clear glass sensor is for paper jams! Located in the middle of the cartridge. Mite also want to know when the last 250K copies PM was done?
