I use the remote, then the on off button on the side of the TV. then I un-plug the power cord from the power bar which has a reset button with a red light to see if power is on.I waited for 15 mins then plug back the TV power Cord in the power bar then use remote to turn the TV on then the manual on off switch on the side of TV no luck cannot get TV to turn on.What do You think is the problem??
You first has to check the tv set direct in a power outlet, without using the power bar.
When the tv goes on you have a defective power bar and normaly this power bar has lifetime garanty.
Otherwise you have a defective power board as mentioned above.
Do you see a yellow light blinking? If yes, look for one of my earlier posts on a different model of Toshiba Regza. I fixed mine with a firmware update!
Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
