How to solve error sc500 in ricoh mp2000
most probably the photoconductorunit (PCU) is blocked. I guess that the gears are full with developer and blocked. you need to disassemble the PCU and see what is blocked. THe SC500 is main motor blocked or defective. But most of the this appear because the PCU is blocked and is blocking the main motor.

Your main motor is hard to turn.. Check your Drum unit. Pull it out then on the back side you'll find a small agitator gear then tried to turn it. If it doesn't rotate then you might have to change its paddle gears, idle gear or that development sleeve is stuck. Hope it helps.
